Wilton’s Music Hall Tour

Wilton’s Music Hall Tour

Thur 29 August, 1230 – 1330h

First opened in 1859, Wilton’s is a remarkable survivor of the great age of popular music hall. Destroyed by fire in 1877, it rose from the ashes as a Methodist mission, its function for many decades. It saw time as a rag warehouse before in recent times returning to its true calling as a place of entertainment. This guided tour takes you on a journey from the 17th century through to the present. Learn about the people, events and performers that have made Wilton’s the place it is today.
