"L" Plates

Welcome to London Historians blog. I am an avid reader of all sorts of blogs, and recently while doing research for the launch of London Historians, I’ve come across some wonderful examples which focus specifically on aspects of London’s history;  I’ll post links to these on our blog roll shortly so you can enjoy them too.
I hope to emulate these paragons, but the fact is that I am a first time blogger and this is my first post. I’m wearing L plates, so would welcome your comments and suggestions to make this better over time. I subscribe to the simple Japanese ethos of constant improvement.
I’ve spoken to some historical authors and successful history bloggers who have agreed to form a small team of contributors to this blog, so you won’t have to endure just me. I shall add their details in due course. We’ll try to post interestingly and frequently.
If you’d like to become a member of London Historians, please visit the Join Us page at www.londonhistorians.org.
Thanks for your support.
