An Old Whale
For lovers of curiosities, Museum of London Docklands is exhibiting their new old whale skeleton for a brief time before further analysis continues. The headless bones of the North Atlantic right whale, unexpectedly uncovered near Greenwich by archaeologists recently, are believed to be over 200 years old. Whether the unfortunate animal moseyed up the Thames and died in situ or was dumped by whalers is not made clear. Get more info here.
